Well, it feels like yesterday that it was 7 months to go until we go on our grand European Extravaganza..plus Egypt..hehe. Now it's only 4 days to go and I did my last shift at work yesterday..so excited not to be going to work for 13 weeks. We got the bag and packing all down..and all our travel clothes seem great. I am a tiny bit concerned about the amount of "moving" room we have in them as Dan and I can be piglets when it comes to food. I am hoping the energy in to energy out equation holds up overseas( a negative balance would be great too)!
We have had a day of house/garage cleaning today, as we have one of my work collegues coming in to look after the fatties for the 3 months we are away. Early spring clean almost, as we haven't been terribly domestic around the house. Dan's car fits in the garage, my Ducati Monster found a new home today..good timing for an injection of funds! Can't say I am terribly sad about see it go, never had a massive bond with it anyways. To be honest I had the biggest bond with my ZZR 250!
So far we have:
Cleaned the fridge
Cleaned the kitchen cupboards
Cleaned the stove (but not the oven!)
Vacuumed the lounge room
Put away clothes
Dan cleaned the office
Dan cleaned the toilet
We cleaned the garage/put car in
Photocopied important documents
Rearranged Linen cupboard
Tidied Lounge room
Left to go
Check in online for flights
Vacuum under bed, kitchen, laundry
Mop floors (most hated task)
Clean Shower
Dan getting rid of his "mancold"
Go to "A day in Pompeii exhibit"
Microchip kittens on Sunday
Dinner with family(s) Sunday
Tax Monday
Osteopath Monday
Hairdresser appt for me Monday
Waxing Monday
Body Corp General Meeting on Monday
Brunch with Sair Tues..
Fly away on Tues!
